ChainCatcher news, the RGB protocol infrastructure Bitlight Labs announced on social media that it has completed its seed round financing, led by Gate Ventures and HV Capital, with participation from MH Ventures, Fundamental Labs, Oak Grove Ventures, Waterdrip Capital, and others.

It is reported that Bitlight Labs expects to launch on the Bitcoin mainnet and Lightning Network within a few weeks, issuing the BIT token based on the RGB20 standard, covering the entire Bitlight application ecosystem and promoting a sustainable token economy. By introducing the token, Bitlight Labs will leverage RGB smart contracts to build a Turing-complete native Bitcoin asset issuance and decentralized finance (DeFi) system to promote the development of the Bitcoin Lightning Network ecosystem.
