In 2016, he completed a dual master's degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering through Georgia Tech's distance learning program, shifting his focus to the Internet of Things while researching distributed systems and blockchain technology. Ultimately, in 2018, he left Intel to pursue cryptocurrency research full-time.
