Dr. Jemma Green is the Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of Powerledger, dedicated to creating a viable market for renewable energy that empowers consumers. This mission began with her PhD in electricity market disruption, which was the seed of the idea for Powerledger, and her promotion of sustainability and corporate social responsibility while working in finance for banks such as JP Morgan. In 2018, Dr. Green won the Extreme Tech Challenge award from Sir Richard Branson, followed by the EY Fintech Entrepreneur of the Year award.
