중국 인민검찰원은 한 기업 내부자가 2000만 달러를 횡령한 뒤, 비트코인으로 은닉하려 한 사건을 적발했다고 비인크립토가 보도했다. 피의자는 8개 해외 암호화폐 거래소와 믹싱 서비스를 이용해 자금 세탁을 시도했으나, 수사 당국이 거래 경로를 역추적해 최종적으로 92 BTC(1170만 달러)를 회수하고 원 소속 기업에 반환했다.
