Bitcoin falls to its lowest level in three weeks as stock markets fall after President Trump announced steeper tariffs against dozens of countries, even as he delayed the effective date by a week. Markets are particularly cautious ahead of key U.S. jobs data due at 1230 GMT, which could further dampen prospects of another interest-rate cut in September. Bitcoin extends falls after recently dropping below chart support around $117,500, analysts say. Bitcoin falls 1.7% to $114,568, having hit a low of $114,330 overnight, LSEG data show. The cryptocurrency drops well away from the record high of $123.153 hit in mid-July. (jessica.fleetham@wsj.com)
