모네로(XMR) 커뮤니티가 51% 공격 방어를 위해 PoW(작업증명) 합의 메커니즘을 개편하는 방안을 찾고 있다고 코인텔레그래프가 보도했다. 최근 큐빅(Qubic) 채굴 풀이 모네로 대상 51% 공격에 성공한 바 있다. 모네로 커뮤니티에서는 채굴기 로컬라이징, 병합 채굴 알고리즘 전환, 대시의 체인락스(ChainLocks) 솔루션 도입 등이 거론됐다.
