According to ChainCatcher's message, the proposal for the Uniswap co-branded Visa card did not pass the vote, with 93.09% of votes against, 6.78% abstaining, and only 0.13% in favor.

It is reported that the proposal was based on a suggestion from Fiat24, a Swiss regulated bank on Arbitrum, to collaborate with Uniswap to launch a co-branded Visa debit card. Fiat24 emphasized that despite Uniswap's daily trading volume reaching $600 million, there is still significant room for growth compared to the global foreign exchange daily trading volume of $7.5 trillion. The proposal aims to integrate Uniswap more deeply into mainstream, traditional financial transactions. The Visa card from this proposal will initially be available to residents of the 27 countries in the European Union, with plans to expand to Southeast Asia and Latin American countries in the future. The card will be priced in euros and will support Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Fiat24 stated that the plan requires no effort or cost from the Uniswap DAO, as all labor and related costs will be borne by Fiat24.
