Bitstamp: Will complete the Mt.Gox compensation distribution as soon as possible.

ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, Bitstamp stated in a statement: "According to the agreement with the Mt. Gox trustee, Bitstamp has 60 days to distribute the tokens, but we will strive to ensure that these investors are compensated as soon as possible."

It is reported that the time for Mt. Gox creditors to receive BTC or BCH will vary depending on the designated exchange. For creditors who applied for compensation using a Kraken account, it may take up to 90 days.

The bankruptcy liquidator previously detailed that the timeline for compensation to be visible in creditors' accounts may vary by exchange: Kraken may take up to 90 days; Bitstamp may take 60 days; BitGo may take 20 days; and SBI VC Trade and Bitbank will complete compensation within 14 days.
