OORT updates token economic model: 800 million OORT will be locked for 5 years, extending the team token unlock period.

ChainCatcher news, the decentralized AI and DePIN project OORT announced an update to its token economic model, with a total supply of 2 billion OORT tokens. Key changes include:

1. In the next five years, 400 million OORT tokens will be allocated as rewards for OORT Edge network nodes, and an additional 800 million OORT will be locked for five years starting from September 15, 2024. The locking address will be announced soon;
2. The unlock period for the 200 million OORT tokens allocated to the founding team has been extended from the original four years to six years, in order to align with the long-term health development goals of the OORT ecosystem.
