Anchorage Digital announces the acquisition of a New York BitLicense

ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, cryptocurrency custodian Anchorage Digital announced that the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) has issued a BitLicense to its subsidiary Anchorage Digital NY, LLC. This approval enables Anchorage Digital to provide secure and efficient cryptocurrency trading for institutions in New York State, with full functionality expected to be achieved by early 2025.
