Hyperlane Foundation: Approximately 8.8 million unclaimed HYPER will be used to incentivize the expansion of the Hyperlane network

ChainCatcher message, the Hyperlane Foundation stated on social media that approximately 88% of the HYPER airdrop has been pre-claimed and will begin distribution next week. The remaining 12% (about 8.8 million HYPER) that has not been claimed will be reserved to incentivize future network expansion of Hyperlane.

Specifically, about 8.2 million HYPER will be used to supplement the reward distribution for the first two quarters based on HyperStreaks; an additional 600,000 HYPER will continue to be used to incentivize the Hyperlane Pilot program.
