Horizen completes token migration, ZEN transitions to Base chain ERC-20 token, launching a three-layer privacy application chain

ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, the Horizen blockchain has migrated its native token ZEN from the original L1 main chain to the Base chain and converted it into a standard ERC-20 token as part of its Horizen 2.0 three-layer privacy application chain deployment. The total supply of ZEN remains unchanged at 21 million.

The project team stated that this is the first step for Horizen to restart its ecosystem with a focus on privacy. Previously, Coinbase announced that it would automatically complete the conversion from the main chain ZEN to the Base chain ERC-20 token for users.
