Metaplanet plans to raise over 800 million dollars, mainly to increase its holdings of Bitcoin

ChainCatcher news, according to a Metaplanet announcement, the company plans to issue no more than 555 million shares of common stock in overseas markets, with an expected net fundraising amount of 130.334 billion yen (approximately 887 million USD).

The announcement shows that approximately 123.818 billion yen of the raised funds will be used to purchase Bitcoin, and 6.516 billion yen will be used for Bitcoin yield generation business.
