ChainCatcher news reports that, according to 4E observations, the stablecoin market landscape is set to undergo new changes. Last Friday, Tether announced plans to issue a new dollar stablecoin USA₮, which will be issued by a U.S. entity and designed fully in accordance with federal stablecoin regulations. The company also appointed former Trump administration official Bo Hines as the CEO of USA₮. Unlike USDT, which has a market capitalization of nearly $170 billion, USA₮ will focus on the domestic compliance market in the U.S., with the issuance date yet to be announced.
Bitcoin treasury company Empery Digital (EMPD) disclosed that it has completed a $14.5 million stock buyback plan, repurchasing approximately 2 million shares at a price below its net asset value. To date, the company holds a total of 4,081.39 BTC, with a total acquisition cost of about $480 million and an average cost of $117,500 per coin.
In Hong Kong, Cyberport announced at the DELF forum that it has launched a pilot for stablecoins and digital assets, comprising a total of 9 cross-industry cases covering areas such as blockchain, smart contracts, data auditing, and security, forming a technology support network that spans mainland China, Hong Kong, and overseas.
Leah Wald, CEO of SOL Strategies, a Solana treasury company, stated that although the company remains at a disadvantage in the highly competitive crypto treasury market, it has delegated approximately 3.6 million SOL (worth over $820 million) to validators, believing that "being undervalued is an advantage," which will highlight its robustness in the long term.
Additionally, Strategy founder Michael Saylor has once again released Bitcoin Tracker information, and 4E speculates that the company may disclose a new round of BTC accumulation this week.
4E reminds investors: the compliance of stablecoins, the accumulation by treasury companies, and the expansion of public chain ecosystems inject new narratives into the market, but in the short term, they are still influenced by macro policies and regulatory dynamics. Investors are advised to remain aware of risks while focusing on hot opportunities and to reasonably diversify their positions.
