ChainCatcher news, according to Fortune, Google has released a new payment protocol aimed at enabling seamless fund transfers between AI applications. This open-source protocol supports traditional payment methods such as credit cards and debit cards, and also specifically integrates features for cryptocurrency stablecoins pegged to the US dollar.
To achieve stablecoin compatibility, Google has partnered with cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase and the Ethereum Foundation, while consulting with over 60 institutions including Salesforce, American Express, and Etsy. This move is an extension of the AI agent communication standard released by Google in April, aimed at ensuring secure and reliable AI transactions. Against the backdrop of a more favorable policy environment in the United States, tech giants such as Apple, Airbnb, and Meta are also actively exploring stablecoin integration solutions.
