ChainCatcher news, the Tongling Intermediate Court disclosed a case of unjust enrichment dispute arising from trading virtual currency. The plaintiff, Ding, placed an order through the platform to purchase 1,300 Tether coins. After the platform seller confirmed the order, they successfully sold their 1,300 Tether coins. However, Ding believed that the payment constituted unjust enrichment and demanded the seller return the funds. After unsuccessful negotiations, Ding sued the seller in the Congyang Court. Ultimately, the court ruled that the Tether coin transaction was invalid due to violation of public order and good customs, and the losses should be borne by Ding, with the law providing no protection, thus dismissing the plaintiff's claims.
