GAIN plummeted 95% after maliciously issuing 5 billion tokens, and hackers have cashed out 3.01 million dollars

ChainCatcher news, according to crypto analyst Ai Yi @ai_9684's monitoring, the address 0xf3d…58db2 maliciously minted 5 billion GAIN tokens two hours ago and quickly sold them off, causing the token price to plummet by 95%, with a total cash-out of approximately 3.01 million USD.

This address was created 11 hours ago, with funds originating from ETH received from Tornado 13 hours ago, which was then exchanged for BNB via Symbiosis cross-chain. The hacker began selling off 22 minutes after the minting at 7:04, continuing for about 55 minutes, and is currently transferring profits across chains to networks such as Solana, Ethereum, Base, and Arbitrum via deBridge. Analysis suggests that this operation resembles the exploitation of a contract vulnerability rather than actions by the project team, and specific details await confirmation from an official announcement.
