ChainCatcher news, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong posted on the X platform that 16 years ago today, you could buy 1,309 bitcoins for just $1. He pointed out that this was the first valuation of bitcoin in dollars, calculated based on the electricity costs of mining bitcoin at that time.
