ChainCatcher 消息，据 @song_doge 在 X 上称，Cardinals Index Node 现已开放，任何人均可运行节点以维护、校验 Dogecoin 的链上账本，并强调“完全去中心化”。
他表示，这项突破不仅限于狗狗币：它为任何基于 UTXO 的区块链（包括比特币）解锁了类似智能合约的功能——无需 EVM 或 Layer 2。
即将升级至 500 毫秒的索引速度，将使 UTXO 链速度更快、可编程性更强，并为下一代链上应用做好准备。
