Chainlink launches the first native real-time oracle on MegaETH

ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, Chainlink has launched the first native real-time oracle on MegaETH, providing sub-millisecond market data to DeFi.

This integration embeds Chainlink Data Streams into the core execution environment of MegaETH, allowing smart contracts to read prices "on time," reducing redundant updates and oracle latency. MegaETH is positioned as a high-speed Ethereum L2, aiming for a throughput of 100,000 transactions per second, targeting low-latency scenarios such as perpetual contracts, prediction markets, and stablecoins. Previously, MegaETH and Ethena launched the stablecoin USDm to subsidize sequencer fees; its ecosystem's derivatives platform Euphoria has completed a total of $7,500,000 in financing. Additionally, it was disclosed that Chainlink claims its oracle infrastructure has secured approximately $90-100 billion in TVL and transmitted about 18 billion messages.
