ChainCatcher news, according to The Verge, Trump is dismantling the East Wing of the White House to make way for a lavish banquet hall. The president stated that the $300 million cost will not be borne by taxpayers, but will be covered by private donors, including himself.

According to the donor list released by the White House on Thursday, it includes some of the largest tech companies in the U.S., such as Amazon, Apple, Google, Meta, and Microsoft.
