MetaMask has launched multi-chain accounts

ChainCatcher news, MetaMask announced on platform X that it has launched multi-chain accounts, resulting in a 30 times increase in user asset loading speed. MetaMask was initially used only as an Ethereum wallet, but now it has added the following features: native support for Ethereum Layer 2 networks and other EVM-compatible networks; wallet functionality expansion through Snap plugins, and connection to non-EVM networks.

Now, thanks to improvements in its architecture, MetaMask is able to natively support non-EVM networks like Solana, and networks similar to Bitcoin will also be supported soon.
