Biden harshly criticizes Trump, stating that he has destroyed America's "democratic" system

According to a report by Jinshi citing DPA, former U.S. President Biden criticized his successor Trump, stating that the current president not only demolished the East Wing of the White House but also destroyed America's "democratic" system.

CNN quoted Biden's remarks made on the 7th during a Democratic Party event in Omaha, Nebraska, saying: "I knew Trump would bring a wrecking ball to the country, but I have to admit, I didn't know there would really be a wrecking ball."

The 82-year-old former Democratic president referred to Trump's demolition of parts of the White House and his desire to convert them into a banquet hall. Trump had previously stated that his banquet hall plans "would not affect the existing structure."

The report stated that Biden said: "This is the perfect symbol of his presidency. Trump not only destroyed the White House and the Constitution, but also destroyed the rule of law and our democratic system."
