OpenMind announces a partnership with Circle to jointly build an embodied AI payment infrastructure

OpenMind has reached a strategic partnership with Circle to jointly build a payment infrastructure for real-world embodied AI transactions. By integrating OpenMind's robotic systems with Circle's USDC stablecoin and the x402 payment protocol, this collaboration aims to enable AI entities to autonomously pay for energy, services, and data costs in the physical world.

In the future, robots, which are gradually becoming independent economic entities, will primarily participate in three types of markets: task markets (such as delivery and inspection), information markets (selling environmental data), and resource markets (paying for charging, storage, and other geographically bound resources). USDC serves as the value carrier, x402 provides the payment channel, and the OpenMind system autonomously decides the payment process.

Both parties view this system as a foundational component of the future robot economy and plan to showcase practical application cases such as automatic robot charging and offline consumption within a few months, continuously exploring the innovative integration of embodied AI and payment infrastructure.
