Bloomberg analysts: A large number of crypto ETPs are expected to be liquidated by the end of 2027

Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart posted on social media that he agrees with the cryptocurrency asset management company Bitwise's prediction of over 100 cryptocurrency ETFs launching in 2026, but also pointed out that many of these products will struggle to sustain themselves.

"We will see a large number of cryptocurrency ETP products being liquidated. This may happen by the end of 2026, but is more likely to occur before the end of 2027, with over 126 ETP applications currently awaiting results from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Issuers are flooding the market with products."
