According to Jinshi reports, Fed's Harmack stated that the November inflation data is positive, possibly due to data collection distortions caused by the government shutdown, underestimating the price growth over the past 12 months. Although the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the November CPI rose 2.7% year-on-year, the adjusted estimate is close to 2.9% or 3%. Harmack believes that the neutral interest rate level may be higher than generally expected, and the economy is expected to maintain robust growth next year.
