The Solana Foundation has announced the launch of Kora, a fee relay and signature node for the Solana ecosystem, supporting fee-free transactions, custom fee tokens, and more.

Previously, there was no modern, standardized way to implement fee payment and remote signing. Although Solana's account model made these features technically feasible, there has been a lack of ready-to-use solutions in the market. Kora has thus emerged, featuring the following capabilities:

• Complete fee payment for transactions;
• Pay fees using any token (including stablecoins);
• Transfer signing operations to a secure environment.
