The highest record for Ethereum's transaction fees occurred in May 2022, when users had to pay over $200 per transaction. However, despite the continuous increase in network usage, ongoing upgrades have significantly reduced fees. Since October 10, fees have also been on a downward trend. On that day, due to a major liquidation event that impacted the entire market, the fee was approximately $8.48.
