Industrial and Commercial Bank of China announces the successful launch of a pilot program for the cross-border digital payment platform using digital renminbi

The official WeChat account of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China announced that it has successfully launched a pilot program for the cross-border digital payment platform using digital renminbi. Among them, the ICBC Singapore branch is actively implementing the innovative pilot project for overseas recharge of digital renminbi personal wallets as part of the 2025 China-Singapore Bilateral Cooperation Joint Committee (JCBC). The ICBC Vientiane branch and the ICBC Shandong branch successfully processed the first cross-border remittance under international trade using digital renminbi between China and Laos.
