According to PR Newswire, BitMine announced today that the total value of its crypto assets, cash, and "potential project" investments has reached $14 billion. As of 7 PM Eastern Time on January 11, the company's crypto assets include:

  • 4,167,768 Ethereum;
  • 193 Bitcoin;
  • A $23 million "potential project" investment in Eightco Holdings (NASDAQ: ORBS);
  • And $988 million in cash.

The amount of Ethereum held by Bitmine accounts for 3.45% of the current total supply of Ethereum (120.7 million).

Bitmine Chairman and Fundstrat analyst Thomas "Tom" Lee stated, "2026 signals many positive trends for the crypto space, with stablecoin adoption and asset tokenization driving blockchain to become the settlement layer for Wall Street, particularly benefiting Ethereum. We still view the leverage reset after October 10, 2025, as a 'mini crypto winter.' 2026 will be a year of crypto price recovery, with stronger growth expected in 2027-2028."

He added, "In the past week, we have increased our holdings by 24,266 Ethereum, while our cash position has increased by $73 million. Bitmine selectively issues stock only at prices above adjusted net asset value, and we remain the largest 'new capital' buyer of Ethereum globally. When MAVAN launches commercial operations, we will become the largest staking service provider in the entire crypto ecosystem."
