Binance launches ETH options short selling (writing options) and a brand new upgraded feature

The Binance Options platform launched the ETH options short selling (writing) feature on January 16, 2026, and it is now available to all users. This upgrade also includes new features such as higher API throughput, an expanded range of strike prices, and advanced market data. Users need to upgrade their accounts to "Options Long/Short" trading mode on the Binance options trading page to use this feature.
