According to Jinshi, U.S. President Trump stated on Friday that he hopes Hassett will remain on the National Economic Council (NEC), saying he performed well on television. Trump's remarks led to a rapid increase of over 20 points in the DXY dollar index, while spot gold and silver briefly plummeted, currently reported at $4,550 per ounce and $87.5 per ounce, respectively.
