Phantom will launch the social feature Phantom Chat

Phantom announced the launch of Phantom Chat, positioning it as a new social feature for 2026.

On-chain detective ZachXBT warned that this feature could become a new entry point for asset theft, noting that Phantom has still not resolved the "address poisoning" issue. Users, without filtering out spam transaction records, may mistakenly copy similar addresses, leading to asset theft. He disclosed that last week, a user lost 3.5 WBTC as a result.
