According to Jinshi News, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics announced that the CPI in January rose by 0.2% month-on-month, slightly lower than the 0.3% increase in December and below economists' expectations of 0.3%. Excluding food and energy prices, the core CPI increased by 0.3% month-on-month, while the year-on-year CPI rose by 2.4%, slowing down from 2.7% in December. Despite the easing of inflation, a stabilizing labor market may allow the Federal Reserve to maintain interest rates unchanged for a period of time.
