Katana Blockchain acquires IDEX and launches perpetual contract platform Katana Perps

According to The Block, Polygon's incubated DeFi Ethereum scaling chain Katana announced the acquisition of the decentralized exchange IDEX, which was established in 2017, with the transaction amount undisclosed.

IDEX will serve as the underlying infrastructure for the newly launched perpetual contract platform Katana Perps, which integrates spot liquidity, routing, and derivatives trading into a single on-chain environment, supported by market makers GSR, Selini Capital, and Auros.
