The U.S. House of Representatives will hold a hearing on securities tokenization

The U.S. House Financial Services Committee will hold a hearing on "Tokenization and the Future of Securities" on March 25, 2026, at 22:00 (UTC+8) to discuss the impact of security tokenization on capital markets, investor protection, and regulatory frameworks, and to review a legislative proposal requiring the SEC and CFTC to study the tokenization market.

Witnesses include SIFMA President Kenneth Bentsen, Blockchain Association CEO Summer Mersinger, DTCC Deputy General Counsel Christian Sabella, Nasdaq Chief Legal and Compliance Officer John Zecca, and Plume Network General Counsel Salman Banaei.
