China's central bank has increased its gold holdings for the 17th consecutive month

As of the end of March, China's central bank reported gold reserves of 74.38 million ounces (approximately 2313.48 tons), an increase of 160,000 ounces (approximately 4.98 tons) compared to the previous month. At the end of February, the reserves were 74.22 million ounces (approximately 2308.5 tons), marking the 17th consecutive month of increasing gold holdings.
